Michael Wheeler, MBA, CMC® is Managing Partner and Founder of Kansas City Consulting Group (KCCG). Michael has 25-plus years experience as a senior manager including 12 years experience as a management consultant and trusted business advisor. Michael has held management and board officer positions in operations, engineering, business development and business support with businesses ranging in size from Global 200 companies (Royal Dutch Shell, Dow Chemical, Schlumberger) and the Tennessee Valley Authority –TVA (a federal agency and the nation’s largest public power provider) to a boutique consulting firm (Reveille Consulting Group) and non-profits (United Way, Institute of Management Consultants). As a management consultant, Michael specializes in strategic planning, situation analysis, business assessment and diagnoses, business process improvement and re-engineering, change management and organizational alignment, performance metrics, executive coaching and Board Governance, Performance, and Structure. His clients have included companies within the transportation, utilities, petroleum, chemical, technology, entertainment, construction, and retail sectors, professional associations, and community support non-profits.
Michael holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. (International Business & Strategy) with honors from the University of Houston, Bauer College of Business. Michael is a CMC® (Certified Management Consultant)** and is the President of the Kansas City Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC KC). He has also held several national board positions for IMC USA including Vice-Chair and Director. Michael resides in the Brookside area of Kansas City, Missouri with his wife and son. He enjoys golf, fly fishing, working on his old Porsche, and coaching youth soccer.

Mike Chirveno, Associate - Operations and Technology
Mike has more than 20 years of experience in operations management and information technology. His operations responsibilities have included process reengineering, call center management, delivery logistics design, audit management and collections. His IT responsibilities have included strategy development, application portfolio analysis, business alignment evaluation and project management for software development and implementation projects. Mike’s commitment to continuous improvement has generated a track record of streamlined processes, effective staff utilization, IT investments with a high return and increased bottom line results.
Mike holds a B.S. from Calvary Bible College and an MBA from Keller Graduate School. He is an Adjunct Professor at Baker University where he teaches graduate students strategic planning and management information systems.
